C3STROM Astro Pro E-Bike Review! The Ultimate Speed Bike

Hello everyone. I’m back with another e-bike review, this time focusing on the C3stromAstro Pro, which currently has two distinct models. The difference between the Astro and the Astro Pro is a 20 amp battery instead of a 15 amp battery. So you get a bit more power and a bit more acceleration, but otherwise, it’s the same bike. Same frame, same seat, same brakes, same everything.

I make tech videos mostly about phones and smartphones, but this one, in particular, drew me in and I was really excited to try it out. I was approached months ago and told, “Hey, we’ll send you this when it’s ready.” This is essentially a cafe racer e-bike; it has a lot of acceleration and is very quick. It goes up to about 28 miles per hour if you’re in an off-road mode which you can enable in the app or if you go into the manual mode in the menu. You can go up to 32 miles per hour but it cautions you to do it on a private road because it’s not street-legal that way. I believe there’s something that says you’re not supposed to go over 30 miles per hour. Whatever, be careful. This is unlike any other product on the market. You can adjust the suspension on the front fork, but you can’t adjust the suspension in the back, so when you go over the front of things, you’re fine, but when you go over something like a road bump, you do feel it more in the seat.


What attracts me?

I would like to discuss what initially drew my attention to this bike. In contrast to traditional e-bikes, other than the appearance, which is aggressive, stylish, and sleek. It doesn’t resemble any other bicycle. This item features hydraulic brakes, which aren’t like the brakes you’d find on a regular bicycle. This will slow you down quickly and efficiently, which is great and complementary given that you’re zipping around with so much power.

What’s so cool about it is that you can use it like a motorcycle; it has a throttle on the right side, hand brakes, and all that good stuff; however, you can also pedal it, so if the battery were completely dead, you could still ride this thing around if you needed to in an emergency; however, they claim it can travel up to 78 miles on a single charge if you have the Pro model and over 30 miles on the throttle mode alone; that’s pretty impressive. It gives you a very enthusiast-like sensation when you ride it, almost as if you’re an avid cyclist. I was just talking to my wife about how much I miss having a motorcycle, and then I started riding this. It’s a nice alternative because you don’t have to worry as much as you would on a motorcycle going 70 miles per hour on an open road, but you can put around and use it downtown.


The mobile application

It even has a mobile application that allows you to change the units of measurement from metric to American standard imperial. You can set a password, view your ride logs and see how many miles you’ve traveled, as well as examine the battery’s health and statistics. This is also where you set the off-road mode or regular mode, so it’s pretty cool. Simple to set up and pair The app is available on both Android and iOS, so you’re covered there.


Some details of C3strom

There’s a USB charger on the left-hand column, which is nice because you can charge your phone that way using the bike’s built-in battery if you absolutely have to. It’s one amp, which isn’t the fastest, but it’ll do in a pinch. Let’s talk more about what’s going on with this bike: it has hydraulic brakes, turn signals, and separate lights.

Again, a 3.5-inch LCD display, a 20-amp battery for the pro model, and a 15-amp battery for the standard model, as well as a half-twist throttle and hydraulic disc brakes. Shimano seven-speed control so you’ve got seven different gears that will change how much effort you need to put into pedaling this bike. Five different levels of pedal assistance, you can have it off so basically it’s six you get zero which is off one two three four five. You start pedaling it kicks in if you even pedal a little bit. It’s crazy how fast this thing goes and it’s so low profile that it feels like you’re on a motorcycle or an old street bike if you’re from my generation, but it’s a lot of fun and really fun to ride, even for smaller children, as you’ve seen in the video where I bribe my son with some McDonald’s and take him to Gamestop. I hardly ever had to charge the battery, and it’s removable with a key. If you don’t lock the battery back in place, it will fall off while you’re riding, which is a safety hazard and bad for the battery.


An e-bike, also a motorcycle

This basically feels like a motorcycle, but it’s an e-bike. Honestly, I would like to see something like an e-motorcycle that would be really cool. I know that some people make them, but to be able to ride one of these around and go like actually on the road would be pretty cool. This is a lot of fun to ride, and it’s something useful that you can use to putt around town. There are a variety of accessories available for it, which you can find at the link below. The 15 amp battery is expected to take approximately four hours to charge, while the 20 amp battery requires approximately five hours to charge. I think that’s pretty fair because most of the time you’re going to be charging this at night because you’re going to be riding it all day and maybe even all week. this is something that you can ride for a really long time.


Have your own C3strom and enjoy your riding

So riding is pleasant, it has a nice weight, and it’s made of aluminum alloy. It weighs just over ninety pounds, so it is not light by any means, but it does have a really good premium build quality, and I think that this thing is made really well. Of course, there are going to be some optional accessories.

All of that information is available on their website in conjunction with the launch of this product, and it is a great bike that gives you the sensation of riding a street bike, an e-bike, a moped, a cafe racer, or something with class three level performance and off-road performance as well. It’s equipped with some serious tires.

You don’t have to worry about losing connection traction on the ground while you’re riding, and other than that, it’s a wonderful experience. It’s fun to ride around, the rack on the back supports up to 33 pounds so you can tie things down if you need to, and I think they did a great job overall because I really enjoyed it. It has the peak performance on anything I’ve seen in the e-bike world and as someone who rode motorcycles for over 12 years, I had a Harley, a Suzuki, I had all sorts of stuff switching over to this e-bike life and putting around on this. It’s a lot of fun. You get the wind in your hair, of course, and you need to wear a helmet because you can get going pretty fast on these things, especially out riding around the roads.

C3STORM ASTRO PRO E-Bike Review – An Electric Bike with Motorcycle Design

Today I’ll be reviewing a brand-new electric bicycle. The C3STROM ASTRO is a distinctive motorcycle, which has a design reminiscent of a motorcycle with a long seat and a large flat surface. It has tires and a powerful motor that provide a decent amount of speed and range. Now this e-bike is 42 kgs. It’s powered by a 750 watt rear motor and can achieve top speeds up to 45 kilometers per hour in standard mode and in off-road mode you can unlock that top speed to 52 kilometers per hour and an incredible 50 mile range.


How to resemble your C3STROM

Now that the ASTRO comes well-packaged in a large box, it is quite a heavy bike, so you may need assistance carrying it. Some assistance with unpacking and assembling the bike This bike comes with an accessory box containing the user manual, a power supply, and a power cable. The voltage information is shown in the image below.A number of tools and a small bag of screws are included, as well as the left and right pedals.The main battery was shipped in a separate box and is a Samsung 21700 cell with a 1040 watt hour capacity that promises a 70 mile range and comes with a pair of keys to lock it in place.

The included instructions are easy to follow with illustrations that make assembly simple. Attach the handlebar and close the screws, making sure the handlebar is the correct way around and at a comfortable angle. Next, we’ll attach the front wheel, so flip the bike over for better access. After sliding the wheel axle through the wheel and securing the wheel in place, making sure the brake disc is seated correctly, tighten both sides, and you’re good to go. Attach the front mudguard, which is secured in place with a small nut and screw, and be sure to also secure the rear mudguard. The pedals are actually marked left and right, so you simply screw them on and tighten them with a wrench. So the ASTRO is fully assembled, we just need to connect the battery, which you pass through under the frame and it slides on to secure, and then you lock the battery in place using the key. now the battery is removable to make charging more convenient, and whilst charging it will show you its progress, and it can be charged via USB. This bike is classified as a class 3 electric bike with pedals, but it shares the design of a class one bike. You’ve got large led lights on the front and check out those left and right turning indicators. Just slightly under the seat, you’ll find your rear brake light, which activates every time you press the brake. Also, when you’re indicating left or right, the rear light also animates your intention, which I think is super cool.


The C3STROM app

Now quick look at the smartphone app. The smartphone app is called the C3STROM app, and it is compatible with both android and iOS. The bike connects to the app via bluetooth, and once connected, it provides battery information and total distance traveled so far, as well as riding history and the ability to adjust pedal assist speeds. You can activate cruise control when your riding speed is above 10 kilometers per hour by holding down the plus button for a few seconds. You can also change your units from kilometers to miles for your convenience. Lastly, if you select pedal electric, which is the default mode, the throttle will not work and you will have to use the pedals to propel yourself. Depending on the mode of pedal assist, acceleration is quite swift.


The driving experience

Now let’s talk about the drive. This bike is undoubtedly smooth and quick, and the added weight of the bike makes it well-balanced. You’re in complete control .Depending on the mode of pedal assist, acceleration is quite swift. I started off in level one to get used to it and gradually increased each level, and you can feel the difference in acceleration each time you increase that level. By level five, it’s practically effortless to pedal half a pedal and the bike goes quite far, so it’s a good idea to get used to it before jumping straight to level five. You can also manually adjust the Shimano gears to make things easier or more difficult. As you can see, when in pedal assist mode, turning the throttle has no effect on the electric motor. When you stop pedaling, the electric side immediately shuts off, so that’s what you can expect from the pedal assist side.

I’ve just briefly switched to the off-road mode using my phone, and now the pedal assist levels do nothing, so it’s no longer five-speed pedal assist but one-speed pedal assist, and that is the top speed, so if you start pedaling, the bike takes off, and if you turn the throttle, the bike slows down. Properly confuses the cops when they see you, and if they ever stop you, they can’t do anything because it’s a legal class 3 e-bike that falls within the legal speed limits without a working throttle. However, when you flip a switch on your phone, the bike reveals its true colors and gives you the motorbike experience with working throttle acceleration and speed.


To get your own C3STROM!

This is without a doubt the most incredible e-bike I’ve tested this year in terms of power and performance, even in standard mode. Off-road mode takes it to a whole new level, transforming it from an e-bike to a motorcycle. If you do not have a driver’s license, you must use the standard pedal assist mode to remain in compliance with UK and EU law.

This is a standard class 3 electric bicycle. If your need for speed is too great and you need off-road mode constantly, you will also need a driver’s license, insurance, and this bike will need to be tested and licensed. All of this will be very expensive, so I recommend just riding pedal assist and if you want to go off-road, do it on private land. It’s safer and cheaper in the long run. However, if you are being chased by zombies at night, you can quickly access real-time information on your phone. If zombies are chasing you, switch to off-road mode and flee as quickly as possible. I love the design and the overall build quality and smoothness of the drive. I love how this bike feels on the road. I love the control. The braking system is very good. I’ve never ridden a harley before, but when I’m on this bike, I feel like I’m on a harley. There are front shock absorbers that can be activated or deactivated, as well as extras such as cruise control, left and right turning signals for the front and back, and a large, attractive led light on the front of this impressive e-bike. If I made a chart for e-bikes, this one would undoubtedly be at the top, so it’s a solid e-bike experience overall. The Shimano gears are upside down and I wish the turn indicators made a noise so if I accidentally left them on I would know, but other than that, this is a solid ebike C3STROM ASTRO. Links are in the description box below. Today, we are fortunate to get some great feedback from one of our first backers Mr. Cole Blank who is an e-bike enthusiast who found C3Strom when he was looking for a fun and easy way to commute.

After researching many e-bikes on the market he finally chose the C3STROM because after having ridden a foldable bike before seeing the Astro he thought that not only was this a powerful e-bike with a great motor but that it looked awesome – basically, you get a cool motorbike without having to have a license to ride an actual one.

Besides commuting, he enjoys taking joyrides along the Mississippi river with his Astro in his free time. As a bonafide cycling enthusiast, he has also participated in many group rides and races in which he has met many fellow riders who love the looks of his bike.  

In his cyclist group, there are many people who have never ridden an e-bike before. Cole says he enjoys interacting with his fellow enthusiasts who have had many questions to ask him about the Astro and e-bikes in general. More often than not their conversations end with people walking away saying, “I’m getting one too”.

As a relatively experienced rider of Astro, he shared his experiences and ideas on improving the bike and our services with us. Here are some quotes and questions from our interview with him.

Q: What do you think C3STROM and ASTRO need to improve?

A: Timing of deliveries. Most of the customers who backed the first model and live in the United States received the bike in the Fall and riding conditions are poor during this time of year.”

C3Strom: Although we’ve been in the industry for a long time, we did ship later than expected during this Indiegogo campaign. We are improving this so that all of our supporters can receive their Astros as quickly as possible, and we welcome you to post more photos and stories of your rides once spring arrives!

Q: What specs that you want ASTRO to have in the future?

A: “Greater rated power and peak power. Larger battery capacity to reach advertised ranges. Lighter frame to increase the range as well.”

C3Strom: Astro is our first product in this category and style. We designed it after considering many aspects, and in some parts, it needs to be improved. However, C3STROM is continuously developing its products and we will collect feedback and opinions from our supporters to introduce accessories and different configurations of e-bikes that meet your needs and wishes. For example, when the V2 is coming; we will add rear suspension to the bike which was one feature on top of the wishlist for many. We will be providing our riders with more products while maintaining high quality.

Q: In the end, we asked a very critical question: How do you keep your Astro safe from bike thieves as it attracts quite a lot of attention where ever it goes?

A: “I use an alarm on all of my bikes along with a heavy-duty chain and GPS tracker.”

C3Strom E-Moped Review. Is this the best Value Electric Motorbike out there

Guys, we have an e-bike review that has already been written, and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re anything like me, you’ll love the way this looks and the style of this bicycle. I’m a biker at heart, and I also enjoy cycling, so I’m a fan of e-bikes, bicycles, and motorcycles. If you are a person like me, you will adore the way this appears.


The overview of the bike

It’s a hybrid of a motorcycle and an e-bike or a bicycle, and I must say that I’m quite fond of its appearance. This object is solid and weighs approximately 80 pounds, which is quite heavy, but I am able to lift it because today is leg day. I will assign it a total score of 50 based on its value, performance, ride quality, design, and overall quality, using a scale of one to ten. If you’re dealing with someone who wants to buy a bike that is exactly what they want, like this one, you can’t buy a frame like this cheaply or easily and turn it into a bike like this, so this is a very viable option for many people, and this e-moped style is a very popular segment. Super 73 has dominated this market for a very long time, but their products are quite expensive. I do not wish to disclose prices at this time, but I am aware that they exceed $3,000. It depends on your budget and your activities. People believe you are a professional e-bike builder because you’re wearing a t-shirt of Michael Jordan dunking an ice cream cone.

Let’s start at the front of the bike and work our way to the back, where you can see that the tires are quite substantial. These are supposed to be puncture proof and I believe these are really thick tires I think they’re just 20 inches probably but these are motorcycle tires. I don’t know how difficult it would be to source these, but hopefully not very difficult, but these are essentially little tiny motorcycle wheels. It’s got a front fender here. It’s got turn signals up front here, a cool little headlight here. I believe these might be the 180s because they appear to have dual-piston hydraulic brakes, which is really nice. Typically, 180s are stamped on the rotors, but these don’t appear to have any markings. It has a front fork with compression, so you can adjust how hard or soft you want it to feel, and the cockpit is quite interesting.

It has turn signals, a horn, a headlight, and a gear shifter, similar to a motorcycle. It’s a little backward, but it doesn’t have much of an impact. The initial observation was that the grip shifters were mounted inverted. If I had my way, I would install a trigger shifter or find a way to install a seven-speed transmission. It contains Shimano parts. The Shimano Altus rear derailleur is equipped with a grip shift. It has nice grips like they feel premium they’re locking grips so you don’t have to take the air hose to get them off. they just three millimeters and take them off it’s got a grip a half twist grip throttle right here it’s very responsive and then it’s got a really nice display here I really do like this display it shows a lot of information. Here is the battery; this one came with a 52-volt 20-amp-hour battery; I think they did a great job designing this into the frame; it mounts backward than it normally would; however, this is a 1,000-watt-hour battery, so the range will be good depending on how you ride it; with e-bikes or cars, you either go fast or far.

Depending on how you ride a vehicle with a power source, the range can range from 30 to 60 miles. It has a massive single chainring up front, which is something like a 52 or 54 tooth, and a 7-speed cassette in the rear, which I believe is an 11 by 34. At 80 pounds of human power, you won’t be pedaling this bicycle all that much. It has hydraulic disc brakes in the rear and this one comes with the rear rack it’s a very small rack but it’s better than nothing and it’s well made it also has the full coverage fender and the rear on the rear does have a brake light integrated into the rear here it sort of just dovetails off the seat and it has turn signals very nice I really like this it’s very impressive. It has a rear-mounted kickstand here, and I believe the controller is mounted in this area as well.

Let’s go and do a test now. So you can see the hill climb it almost made it up with just throttle from the very worst spot which I’ve never tested a hub motor that can do I just had to move it back about 10 feet and it got up there and like this motor is actually pretty powerful. I don’t know if it’s because of the power, you know 2000 watts. That’s a lot of power going to this thing or if it’s the way that it’s wound. This feels solid, powerful, and good, and as you well know, I have a strong preference for mid-drives. I love my mid-drives, but I don’t hate this one, and that’s a big deal with a 52-volt battery because typically you have to find 72-volt systems on hub motors before they begin to perform well, but this 52-volt system performs exceptionally well. Even though the display says 28, I’m sure you could unlock this if you tried. The display on this bike is interactive, and it appears to be Bluetooth-enabled, so it appears that a Bluetooth app will be available for this bike.


The rating system-Value

At a starting price of $1,700, this bicycle could be very exciting. And once it’s unlocked, it’ll probably do around 34 or 35 mph with this much power, and if you fiddle with the settings, it’ll probably go even faster. As of the recording of this video, this bike had not yet been released; however, it will be released soon, so please check back. Check out the links below if you want to pre-order or buy this bike before I have all of the information on it.

Let’s move on to the rating system. Let’s go number one with value. For $1700 or even $1800 or whatever you’re buying this for, or whatever you’re paying for this, I believe you’re receiving an incredible value. It is absolutely a 10 in terms of value. There is nothing that I would actually criticize. They carry high-quality items. They gave considerable consideration to this. The frame and battery capacity are incredible. I wish it had a mid-drive, but it’s fine as is. In fact, this might be a better setup because it’s still powerful and will be great for the majority of people. Value, absolutely 10.


The rating system-Performance

Performance. This item served as a hub motor normally. On paper, I would probably give this a score of five or six. However, based on actual riding experience, I will give this an eight for performance. I wish it came with a greater degree of access. So I’m sitting here editing this video and I just wanted to break the fourth wall really quick and let you know that after spending a little bit more time there is an app and by a little bit of time- I meant five seconds, I found out there is an app. Downloaded it and in that app, you’re able to unlock the controller. You you’re able to set it at different classes whether you want to be a class 3, off-road, etc. It also has more detailed information about your bike and ride, as well as battery health and everything else in the app, so the app is actually quite helpful, and you can unlock it. I was able to unlock it and reach speeds over 30 miles per hour, low 30s probably 32-33 miles per hour. However, unlocking the app did not affect the low-end torque curve, as it only affects top speed. I would have given it a 10 if it had reached that level. So let’s give it a 9 for performance design; this bicycle is fantastic.


The rating system-Design

Design. This is a pre-production model, and I was unable to connect to the Bluetooth; however, if I were able to connect to the Bluetooth and unlock all the features, I would certainly give it a 10. This deserves a score of 10 because I adore every aspect of it, including its appearance and texture.


The rating system-Ride quality

Let’s talk about ride quality; this is where things get a little tricky because it has these fat motorcycle tires, which cause it to behave a little erratically. However, it rides extremely smoothly, even over bumps and railroad tracks, because this is a large, padded seat, it has a hard tailback, and there is no suspension here, but the front suspension absorbs a lot of road noise, and these large tires absorb the rest. So for that, I’ll give it a nine. Obviously, it loses some because of handling but honestly, it’s like not a huge deal and when you’re buying for this you’re probably not trying to buy like for a track bike. So I would say give it a nine for that.


The rating system-Bike quality

The bike quality. I think they did an excellent job. Shimano Altus is not the highest

end but it’s too mid-level can’t knock it. It has hydraulic brakes without a brand name; they are neither Tektro nor Shimano, but they still feel great. Everything about this bike feels very sturdy, which I really appreciate. It’s a solid bike. They did a lot of internal wiring routing for things like the rear brake cable. For $1,700, this is more of a motorcycle. I believe it’s a motorcycle because it has a top speed of approximately 33 miles per hour, but it could be modified to go much faster, and you might even be able to get a license plate and register it. This is where I have my own thoughts “Can this vehicle be registered? Turn signals, lights, a speedometer, and a horn are included.” Please register the vehicle if it has a VIN number. That’s who it’s for if you have an inner hooligan and you like just cruising and having fun, being comfortable, and in my opinion having a stylish bike, this bike is for you. Obviously, if you’re a cyclist and you want to go get exercise on this, this is not the bike for you. You’re not going to get exercise. Your q factor is all messed up from sitting on it like this. This is a wide seat although it’s comfortable.

I’m so glad I was able to test-ride it and get my hands on it because this is a really cool bike. I do recommend this bike if you’re in the market for a moped-style emoto. I’m not sure what this segment is called, but this is a great value bike and it’s just fun to ride.

Take the time to fully charge an electric bike’s battery for up to 12 hours when you first receive one. This prolonged initial charge helps condition the battery right out of the box by ensuring that current is flowing across all of the cells.

Tip No. 2: Regularly charge your e-bike battery

With frequent use and consequently regular charge, the lithium chemistry batteries used on EVELO electric bikes—and really most electric bikes—should last longer.

You don’t typically need to let the battery of your electric bike entirely discharge. Instead, attempt to charge the battery when it has between 30 and 60 percent of its capacity left.

However, some battery experts advise performing a full discharge once every 30 to 40 charges. However, in all other cases, adhere to the 30-to-60% rule.

This should serve as another additional motivation to get out and ride as you need to use your electric bike frequently in order to charge it frequently.

Tip No. 3: Avoid extremes of temperature

An electric bike battery feels the same way about the weather as most electric bike riders do. Moderate temperatures are better.

To prolong an electric bike battery, avoid temperature extremes both in usage and when you are charging the battery.

Like you, the electric battery on the EVELO Delta likes moderate temperatures, especially during charging.

During a charging cycle, the battery should be in an environment that is warmer than freezing and not hotter than 110 degrees Fahrenheit at the extremes. But why go to extremes? It would be better still if the temperature was between about 60 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit during charging.

Tip No. 4: Don’t Overcharge an Electric Bike Battery

Don’t just leave your electric bike battery on the charger for long periods of time — think several days or more. When you do, you can create a situation wherein the battery will discharge leaving it at perhaps 95 percent of capacity. The charger then goes to work, topping off the battery. This cycle of minor d

discharges and topping off continue creating a series of poor charging cycles.

Instead, use a timer on your mobile device to remind you to take the battery off of the charger.

Tip No. 5: Don’t Store an Empty Battery

Sometimes you may need to store your electric bike battery. Perhaps, you’re about to take a trip. Maybe it is too cold outside to ride. Regardless, don’t store the battery empty, rather look for it to have about 40-to-70 percent of its full capacity.

C3Strom Astro Pro – Best Electric Bike of 2022 | Vintage Motorcycle Meets Bicycle

Hello everyone, welcome back to Jimmy is Promo. We’ll be looking at the brand’s new C3STROM ASTRO and ASTRO PRO today. These are class 3 electric bikes, and the campaign goes live on May 25th, or right now, depending on when you watch this video.



The overview of the C3STROM

The C3STROM ASTRO and ASTRO PRO are available in two colors: black and gray. They can reach a top speed of 28 mph in c3 mode and 32 mph in off-road mode. The motor has a 750-watt rating. Depending on whether you get the ASTRO or ASTRO PRO, you can have a maximum range of 58 miles or 78 miles. The only difference between the two is the battery size. Now, the C3STROM ASTRO PRO is the best in class, especially when it comes to battery capacity, as it has the largest battery capacity available for an e-bike under $4,000. It has a 1040-watt hour battery as well as a 750-watt motor.


The saddle is extra long and super comfortable, filled with silicone to reduce vibration, and for the lighting system, you have that massive headlamp in the front that is a 130 lux headlight with high and low beams, as well as the front left and right turn signals, and then the led tail light with integrated turn signals and brake light once the brake is compressed. Finally, the tires are 20-inch by 4.25-inch anti-puncture tires that eat up the road and grass on almost any terrain.

The C3STROM application and how to set it

Let’s take a look at the C3STROM application, which is free to download from Google Play and Apple App Stores and is very easy to pair with your bike. All you have to do is turn on your bike, hit the little ‘M’ on the left side of the handlebar that is a mode for Bluetooth, and then once you open up this application, hit on add device and you’ll be done in about 10 seconds with your battery percentage, total distance ridden, and a bunch of different settings and battery info that you can look at and change. Now, you can see that we are disconnected because my bike just turned off a few seconds ago, but the last percentage we were at was 100% and the total distance ridden was 17.6 miles, then down here is a bunch of quick actions and there are a few things that you can really only do on this application that you can’t do on the bike itself, so one of these right here is one that is on the bike. You don’t really need the application to do it, but that’s where you can change your pedal assist pedal or the level zero is basically just pedaling the bike and not assisting you in any way. Then it goes all the way up to level five, which is usually where I keep mine. This next set is my personal favorite. This is where you can switch from class 3 mode, which has a top speed of 28 miles per hour, to off-road mode, which has a top speed of 32 miles per hour or 52 kilometers per hour. Because I am currently disconnected, the bike has recently been turned off. When I turn on the bike and have this application next to it, when I switch this to off-road mode, we’ll be able to go faster. Here you can see the status of your battery, as well as the current voltage, currency, and temperature capacity. As a result, you can see everything that is going on. So, right here, I have that 20 000 milli amp hour battery that is inside my bike. You also have a cruise function, so if you’re going more than 6.3 miles per hour, hold down the throttle for two seconds and then press the plus button for two seconds, and the cruise function will activate. You will also be able to see the cruise icon, so I would definitely read that and take a look if you want to use the cruise function. I don’t think it’s necessary as long as you just pedal, and I’m only on level four of pedaling. It’ll just keep you at that constant speed, and then your light switch just turns on the light, and then it turns off, but you can see that again. I can’t do that because we’re not connected. And this way, you can change your unit settings from mile to kilometer.


The difference between ASTRO and ASTRO PRO

One of the most common questions is what is the difference between ASTRO and ASTRO PRO, and is it worth the price difference, and the answer is right in front of you, which is only the battery size, which will give you a different range in miles. So you have the ASTRO, which has a max range of about 58 miles and a battery capacity of 780 watt-hours, or the ASTRO PRO, which has a max range of 78 miles and a battery capacity of 1040 watt-hours, so the difference between the two is about 20 miles.

Let’s take a look at the pricing and timeline for everything that’s going on. The super early bird price for the ASTRO is $1699 if you go with first come, first served on May 25th. Then you put on your handlebars, and you just want to make sure everything fits properly. You tighten everything up and look at that 3.5-inch LCD display. Once those are finished, you twist on and tighten your left and right turn signals. Now you can put on that removable battery, and once in place, you can lock it into place. C3STROM ASTRO Best moped-style e-bike I have tried so far! —Electric Vehicles Space

This electric bike is styled after a supercar. Sleek, and all of these curve connections and line transitions come together seamlessly. The fender connections are also detailed and tailored to fit this frame.

Except for both angular rims but even here tires are divisible very good grip and allow you to lean hard into the corner while maintaining control, these unique touches and parts are built for this model and not built with generic off-the-shelf parts that you’ll find in other electric bikes

The alloy brackets that connect the fender are beautifully machined and give the entire bike a high-end feel. The paint job is fantastic. The seat is extremely comfortable, and the overall quality is excellent. The frame is connected to the seat, and the battery placement is well-balanced and well-integrated.

Before we get to the handlebars and controls, there is also room for a second battery and a lot more storage. I like to emphasize the mid crank set because it is large, does not look cheap, and will allow you to avoid ghost pedaling at high speeds.

We have a Shimano auto 7-speed rear cassette, but this shifter is incredible. The frame welds are flawless. The attention to detail is superb. The ASTRO is equipped with a 750-watt Bafang rear hub motor that generates 80-newton meters of torque in the fourth gear.

In turbo mode, it can reach speeds of up to 28 miles per hour. My top speed is 33 miles per hour. Going against the wind, a solid push through any terrain will be both comfortable and powerful.

The ASTRO PRO is simply stunning. The design is very innovative and out of the ordinary, inspired by motorcycles. This model pushes the boundaries of your bike design by including some competitive features. It’s a class 3 electric bike, which means you can ride it without a driver’s license, which is pretty cool.

On this frame, it can be easily divided and transformed, with more range and power than the Super 73. For a lower price, you get a lot of features, and the ASTRO PRO went above and beyond by including the sterling signals.

This model comes in two color options and two battery configurations. The standard 780 watt hour battery has a range of up to 50 miles, while the PRO version 1040 watt hour battery has a range of 78 miles.

The torque is gradual at first, but once you pass 15 miles per hour, it accelerates quickly. With pedaling assistance on throttle alone. I reached a maximum speed of 33 miles per hour against the wind, with a maximum ritual speed of 31 miles per hour. I am 220 pounds. If you weigh less, you can travel at speeds of up to 35 miles per hour. The acceleration is gradual and smooth.

The bike is 95 pounds (43 kilograms) in weight. On my fifth maximum level of assistance, I pedaled 27.5 miles. These one-finger curved hydraulic brake levers are fantastic. They are not branded, but they function flawlessly and look and feel fantastic. The grips and controls are of high quality. Everything is easily accessible, comfortable, and simple to use. Another feature I appreciate is how well the wires are managed. Everything is properly concealed within the frame.

The display is unique to this model and provides a clear presentation of all parameters while riding. It has a huge motorcycle front light that is both powerful and bright. It has both high and low beams. The backlight is built into the seat and frame.

The front fork is adjustable and lockable, with two to three inches of travel, which is adequate for city commuting. The hydraulics are two piston brakes that add grip and stopping power. This frame is well-built, and it can easily support a larger motor and a larger battery. There’s enough space here on this platform for us to do a lot of DIY, and I believe this design is inspired by Harley-Davidson.

I rode this bike for several days and was impressed by how well it is built and how comfortable it is. Many people have asked about it, and I’ve received many compliments. This model also comes with an app that is compatible with iOS and Android devices, which adds to the features, but the best part about this bike is the price, which is significantly lower than your expectations. The C3STROM ASTRO is now available in standard and PRO models for $1700 and $1900, respectively. You get a lot of features and quality for this price. I’m not sure if this is adjustable, but the front fork becomes noisy on the rebound and there appears to be movement inside. I need to follow up with the brand on that. Overall, this is the best e-bike offer available right now.

Please check device compatibility before charging

We recommend that all our riders use the official standard C3STROM charger (ASTRO/ASTRO PRO charger). Also, when using the battery, when the temperature exceeds 150℉, the battery’s protection system will activate the over-temperature protection to cool down the battery to within 150℉.

When the outdoor temperature reaches 7℉, you can remove the battery and put it into a warmer and drier room for charging.


Storing the charger in a dry environment

Please keep the charger in a dry place and make an effort to keep rain and metal debris from getting inside. After a prolonged time of bumps, vibrations, and dampness, the charger will be easily destroyed if rain and metal particles penetrate.

How to Store Your Electric Bike in Winter

Many people have told us that the snow buildup and chilly temperatures make it hard to ride a bike in the winter. Naturally, we also hope that the chilly winter will end soon for the benefit of all C3 users. When not being used for a prolonged period of time in the winter, how can electric bicycles be stored properly?


Store the battery fully charged

Electric bicycles are more likely to remain parked for a long period in the winter because of the chilly temperatures, rain, and snow. In fact, proper battery storage is the most crucial factor. The battery of an electric bicycle will continue to use energy when it is not used for a while. The battery is said to be “self-discharging” in this circumstance. The idea behind this is that since the battery is still made of plates and acid, there will still be chemical and physical interactions. Long-term low-power and static usage of the battery increases the risk of damage, which slows down charging and prevents the battery from charging correctly. Remove the battery from the electric bike and keep it fully charged indoors if you won’t be using it for an extended length of time, especially in the winter when it will be cold outside.

For instance, the electric bicycle with C3 at this point has a battery capacity of 20Ah, and its energy consumption per hour for the battery board, self-discharge, and protection board is around 0.2–0.4mA. The basic battery provided by C3 may theoretically be fully charged. We advise monitoring the battery state at least once every two weeks if the electric bike won’t be used for a while.

Maintenance strategy

1. To maintain the battery’s operating frequency, start the electric vehicle and attempt to drive a short distance in a sparsely populated field.

2. To verify the battery’s remaining power, turn on the battery power switch; pay attention to charging in time.

3. Wipe the battery’s outside structure gently if it has water mist or ice on it.

4. Charging maintenance, owing to the cold weather, charging in the winter will result in lower energy efficiency and longer charging times. Normal conditions dictate that the battery’s charging time will increase by 1-3 hours during the winter. When I don’t ride my electric bike for an extended period of time, I need to charge the battery completely at least once every half month to maintain battery health.


Avoid damp and rust

The outdoors will become quite humid in the winter because of prolonged exposure to snow and water mist. The electric bicycle’s flywheel, center shaft, chain, and shaft will all suffer harm if it is left in such an atmosphere for an extended period of time. The objective of this is to stop the parts of the bike from rusting. Brakes, brake handles, and other parts are extremely easy to rust. You may attempt to clean them with lubricating oil before storage. Therefore, we advise taking the electric bicycle’s battery out and storing it indoors while keeping the remaining components either indoors, outside with a cover over them, or in an underground parking garage.
